Day 10 of the unexpected benefits of knowing your purpose - getting stuff done.

This has to be the very best - getting stuff done.

Purpose often has this sense of being airy, fairy and this thing that you get to after you get done with the "important stuff."

Nothing can be farther from the truth. When you know who you are and what you are about, you just get more stuff done. And this isn't by accident as your purpose forces you to focus on 5 key areas:

  • Knowing who you are

  • How to share it

  • Taking actions aligned with your purpose

  • Building systems to support your efforts and

  • Learning to grow through reflection and refinement

That is owning your purpose and when those things happen you just get sh!t done. And not just by working hard but by being more of yourself.

Because when you are more of yourself, and your conversations and actions are more aligned with that (even if you aren't perfect) and your systems support you, then things just move faster.

So if you are grinding, I invite you to stop and take a moment to ask "who am I and what am I about?" and then move forward based on that rather than what your circumstances are telling you.
